Alwanda Jackson, a scifi author, Illinois native residing in Arizona, found her inspiration of the currently in-the-works and untitled, debut novel comprising of science fiction, fantasy, esoteric, imaginative and creative musings through many movies, novels and television series she has viewed and perused over the course of her lifetime and seeks to resonate with many captivated readers and aficionados of the genre. Her endeavor is for her readers to be inspired by the characters she creates in each story, to imagine and create the impossible, which is a breath away.
When not reading books or at her bread-and-butter employment, she either enjoys cooking, sewing, African dance, being outdoors, watching ’80’s movies and learning to play bass lines from rock, funk, jazz, reggae, R&B from various decades.
Growing up,she has read many sci-fi books and heard many a story and myth remotely of the gods and goddesses of other cultures and wondered about her own. The mainstream versions felt as if something was horribly missing, getting crumbs of narrative. Leaving out the best stories of humanity on a psychic level is the worst crime committed against humanity. She knows that with proper knowledge, wisdom, patience one must go within to collect those jewels only meant for the seeker to find, cherish make it a part of oneself in order to share and uplift others.
